Erasmus+ Programme, strategical partnerships KA2 is the focal EU programme in the field of education. At our school we have been cooperating internationally for 20 years. We use this cooperation for the search of the innovative solutions, knowledge of other countries, languages and ways of life. We have introduced in learning a European dimension, and thereby supported the most contemporary work methods at school.
We have three new Erasmus+ projects this school year. The new project in this school year will be on the theme of robotics, with the title "the Dawn of the schools with the education of 4.0". The project will be carried out together with schools from Turkey, Finland, Sweden, Portugal, and Latvia. A single training event will take place in each country, where we will also take our eight graders. The titles of the events: the Lego EV3 Mindstorms; Coding and programming; Vex robotics; 3D printing; Virtual reality; Drones.
Our second new project, entitled "We Learn that Apply Augmented and Virtual Reality, and Our technology Class" where not just the schools, but also to the institutes of technology will cooperate. On the subject of virtual reality, we will work together with partners from Spain, Finland and the UK. The students are directly involved in this project, who will travel to the training event with their teachers.
We will continue with the project "STEM for all seasons" along with the schools from Ireland, Greece, Germany and Portugal. » With the help of a weather station, and with the help of the project’s activities we will include science subjects STEM in the curriculum in an integrated way. We will proceed with all modern educational aids, and tools to support the teaching of STEM subjects, which we have introduced or expanded the previous school year (such as Scratch, NEEDS animations, Raspberry Pi, Arduino board, robotics...)
We will also continue the last year’s project entitled: »Improving Mental Health Through Playground Games«. The ultimate goal of the project is to improve the mental health of our students and to enrich their world of emotions. The emotion will be explored through the fun element of the games. We are cooperating with a school in Ireland, Poland, Lithuania, Spain, France, Italy, and Greece. Project leader: Sonja Šega Health Through Playground Games«.
In the school year 2018/19 we implemented a new project entitled »Zeleni mikro:bit«. We proceeded with this project also in this school year. We have connected with two schools from Croatia (Zagreb and Slavonski Brod). We want to encourage the students to critical thinking in the use of natural resources and the protection of the environment. In order to achieve this goal, we want to introduce an eco-pedagogical approach to our project in a way that we will introduce the green architecture in our school. We will build the outdoor and indoor school garden, the plants will be watered by "Micro: bit", that we will programme and make ourselves. There are also the mobilities of students expected in Croatia.
